2025 MEN’S WINTER LEAGUE (Sponsored by Aidan Colgan / Colgan Sports)
First Round will commence 2nd January and the League will be run over 8 weeks. Play any day of the week. Best 3 scores per team to count each week. Top two teams form the league will play in match play final to decide the winner.
Entries will still be accepted at the Golf Shop over the coming week, the entrance fee is €10. Include your Golf Ireland number, handicap and mobile phone number with entry
League Format:
- 12-hole competition each week (note that course conditions and weather may dictate the number of holes / temp greens v full greens etc. from week to week)
- Best 3 scores per team to count each week
- Members can play any day of the week
- Prizes will be awarded to 1st,2nd, and 3rd placed teams.
- 1st and 2nd places will be decided by a match play final between top two in the league table at the end of 8 weeks.
- Individual prize for highest accumulated points scored.
- Weekly Category prizes for best individual scores.
Team Captains are requested to encourage continued participation by Team Members throughout the 7 weeks to ensure an enjoyable and competitive Winter League. Best of luck to all participants and Teams
