The following are the details of the Ethel Culliton Memorial Shield (Formerly Laois Shield) 2024

The dates are fixed and cannot be changed.

Competition format: Scotch Foursomes / Greensomes / Stroke

Teams: Four (4) pairs with 7 subs allowed over 3 days – Pairings cannot be changed.

Handicap Index:  A player must have a Handicap Index of not lower than 19.0 and not higher than 40.0 on day of each event.

Official Team Sheet signed by club Handicap Secretary and to be handed in by 12.30 pm each day, together with a list of players, their handicap index and their allocated times.

Changes cannot be made after the time sheet has been handed over/submitted.

Each Manager must make their pairs aware of their tee times.

Draws start at 13.00 pm and at 10 min intervals.

Entry Fee: €100. This must be sent to the Ladies Treasurer Abbeyleix Golf club (final day host club 2024) before the 8^th August 2024.  

 Prizes              

• 1^st €200 to the winning team
• 2^nd €160 Runner-up Team
• 3^rd €120 3^rd place team
• 4^th  €100 4^th place team
• € 20 each to the pair with the best score each day.
• On the final day of the competition, an additional ‘Best Score’ will be awarded to the team pair who has not featured in the above results.

Please note that the ‘Best Score’ prize cannot be given to players who feature in any of the above winning teams.

Results 1^st day club (2024) Rathdowney shall make out the results sheet; it needs to be big enough for the results/scores over the 3 days.
