 The captain’s drive in which was postponed due to inclement weather will now take place on Sunday March 19th at 11am.

The two Captains Michael and Mary will drive off the 3rd tee and this will be followed by the tree planting ceremony.
The 4 person scramble which is generously sponsored by Portarlington Credit Union
will be rescheduled for a later date.
The Daffodil Day singles competition will go ahead as planned.

The competition format is a 12 Hole scramble team of 4.

In the meantime a full bar service will be available at the weekend together with a reduced food menu of soup,sandwiches,tea,coffee etc.

Congratulations to our Dan Murphy on his recent success in Dunmurry Springs.
Dan shot a round of 68 to claim 1st place in the Midland Senior Alliance competition
The field consisted of pro’s and amateurs contesting for the best gross.

Captains Dinner 2016

The Captains Dinner will take place on Saturday 10th of December at 8 PM

Congratulations to Daniel Murphy on winning the Portmarnock Winter Series with a score of 71

This achievement is all the more remarkable especially as the opposition included a few notable professionals including Damian McGrane and Paul Dunne.

This victory completed a great 2016 season and added to his previous victories in The K Club Scratch Cup with a 67 and The Galway Scratch Cup with rounds of 69 and 71.

Dan also was part of Portarlington Golf Club teams that competed in Leinster finals for Senior Cup and Barton Shield.

We wish Dan continued success in 2017
